Dental Marketing: Your dentistry should have its own site!
If the owners of dental clinics and offices don't have their own sites, they can be divided into two large groups.
1. The people who firmly believe that they don't need a website, it is just a fashionable "chip", and the dentist will be successful without it.
It is wrong way, of course. Most of the modern society lives in virtual space. Your target audience is also located there. When your potential customers need to find a dentist, they won't run to switch the TV on and watch commercials. First of all they turn to search engines like Google, Yahoo and so on. If your clinic doesn't have its own site, it automatically loses all these clients, because they will find what they need on the websites of your competitors.
2. This group contains leaders of the dentistry, who realize that they need a website to promote and develop, but they don't know how to approach this. Maybe they have even tried to order a website for a lot of money. Lots of time has gone to war with the designers, who stubbornly refused to do what the customer requested. Then a few months of waiting until the programmer will give product and correct all errors. Some gaps still to be identified. And site must be constantly updated, that also needs money. As a result, an electronic resource "eats" more money than brings.
We are well aware that these reasons do not have your own website are "very serious". However, even with all this, you need a website of your dentistry. It is an axiom.
Your site may not have any special design and technical "bloat". Most importantly, it was convenient for the patients and they really can find answers to their questions.
We met a very serious mistake on websites of many dental clinics: the creators of the site are doing "Prices" page, but there are no prices in it. Don't do this! Believe me; it's very annoying for site visitors.
Make sure that your website has always been fresh and contains truthful information: your services, promotions, changes in the price list, and others.
The site of clinic can have a major influence on your potential customers. Unfortunately, the clinic, that doesn't have its own site, is very little trust.
